In this episode, Taub's babies appear for the first time, and House can't resist suggesting that they aren't really Taub's.

Jamie Bamber (Battlestar Galactica) guest stars as a man who “suddenly collapses, and in the process of diagnosing his symptoms, the team discovers that he has been hiding dark secrets and lying about his personal and professional life… But when he openly confesses his wrongdoings to his family and community, he compromises his chances of receiving the proper medical treatment that could save his life.”

I don't think anyone even wrote fic for it.

Ha, a challenge!

Once the fellows had gone House pressed the button to open the wall up again. As he expected, Wilson was still sitting in the same position, reading the same piece of paper.

Wilson looked up at him.

"So, what does this mean, House?" He stood up and came towards the neutral zone. "Are you trying to tell me that you don't want any more walls between us? That you want us to be closer?" He crossed the neutral zone and invaded House's territory. "That we should drop the pretense of barriers and just tell each other how we feel?"

Wilson put a hand on House's shoulder and touched his stubbled cheek. "You didn't need to remodel half the hospital to tell me that." He gently touched his lips to House's and then withdrew. "I already knew."

Some time later, when they were in bed in each others arms he confessed to the truth.

"I wanted to mess with Foreman and I just thought it would be cool to do so..." he shrugged.

Wilson's eyes widened. "You mean you weren't trying to tell me something? It wasn't some sort of metaphor for our relationship?"

"No. Sometimes a wall is just a wall."

I'm grinning (which is an accomplishment, given the technical wrangling I've been doing today). Suddenly I *love* that stupid wall. Slash makes everything better.

This is what happened post-ep, and no one can convince me otherwise.

"All in all you're just another brick in the wall."

Okay, this really made me smile.

And the wall is about the only thing I remember about this episode. I did think it was pretty funny, though. :D

Hah, the wall was just a wall, but how very like House to let Wilson come up with, and act upon, convoluted interpretations -- especially when those interpretations mean House gets something he wants. :-D
